THE TEN ELEMENTS OF A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL YEAR

The final webinar in the 2010 PWSA (USA) Webinar series will be presented Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at 8:00 p.m., EST.   This webinar will be the first of its kind to address topics such as managing transitions, transportation issues, having a schedule and much more.  Mary K. Ziccardi and Kerry Headley will co-present this topic which is suitable for parents as well as educators.  Ms. Ziccardi has worked extensively with people with Prader-Willi syndrome over the past decade.  She has developed and continues to provide oversight to five residential programs supporting people with PWS, as well as providing training and consultation services nationally.   Ms. Headley is a board member of the PWSA (USA) Board of Directors, has been involved as a conference planner for numerous PWSA (USA) national conferences, and is the mother of a 12-year-old son with PWS.   She will share her personal experience in working with her son’s teachers and schools.
