Behavioral Crisis

Behavioral crisis situations can take many forms for people with Prader-Willi Syndrome including:

  • an increase in tantrums.
  • a new habit of hording or perseverating
  • an increase in irritability or food seeking.

You sort of know a behavioral crisis when you see it! We are posting several resources that address common behavioral crisis issues with the hope they will help you to think through some new strategies and ideas for managing the situation. If more intense assistance is needed, please contact one of our Crisis Counselors.
