Norma Terrazas, RD, LD
Biography
Norma Terrazas is a Pediatric Dietitian at Texas Children’s Hospital
in Houston, TX. She received her degree from the University of Houston
where she also did her Dietetic Internship. She provides support to
medical staff for, but not limited to, the Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Clinic, Feeding Team Clinic, and Prader-Willi Clinic. In addition she is
involved with a pediatric-based weight loss program called A Way of
Life.
Norma has been a member of the PWSA (USA) Clinical Advisory Board
since 2006. She enjoys being a part of the PWS Clinic at Texas
Children’s Hospital and working with her team to help make a true impact
for families dealing with PWS. As a Pediatric Dietitian, Norma
encourages good eating habits and, if needed, long-term weight loss
success. She has a 2½ year old daughter and is expecting another
addition to her family in April 2008.

Al Heinemann
Biography
Al Heinemann is owner and operator of Personalized
Fitness and Massage Center in Sarasota, Florida. A nationally certified
trainer, he has helped hundreds of clients attain their fitness and
health goals. His business specializes in developing individual
programs for a wide variety of people from the beginner who hasn’t
worked out in ten years (if ever) to the seasoned athlete training for a
specific sport.
Al has a 34-year-old
son, Matt, who has Prader-Willi syndrome. Proud father,
co-founder of the Missouri state PWSA chapter, volunteer at the national
PWSA office, and husband to former executive director, Janalee (now
Director of Research and Medical Affairs), Al’s life
has forever been enriched by that little section of the 15th
chromosome.
