The Merrit Island Elk’s Lodge 2650 is helping sponsor a softball tournament to benefit the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA). Starting time is 9:00 am and goes until the last game ends. The event will take place at the Cocoa Beach High School Ball Fields. There will be a concession stand with hot dogs, hamburgers & soft drinks. Plus Clint Hurdle, manager of the Colorado Rockies, former baseball pro of the Kansas City Royals and former graduate of MIHS will be there to meet and greet all day. His daughter, Maddie, who has Prader-Willi Syndrome, will also be there for a short while. There will be a silent auction of baseball memorabilia available as well.
