WHAT WE DO…
- Prader-Willi Syndrome Association PWSA (USA), organized in 1975, is the only
national membership organization that supports and educates families and
professionals about Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).
- Develop research strategies to stimulate research about Prader-Willi Syndrome
and help set priorities, guidance and financial support for that research.
- Increase awareness and education about PWS – this past year alone, we sent
more that 9,000 educational packets and distributed thousands more at medical
conferences.
- Develop a new Parent Mentoring Program – we have 338 infants and toddlers
enrolled from 40 states and seven foreign countries that have received the
Package of HOPE.
- Provide crisis intervention for all who are impacted by PWS – during the past
year, PWSA (USA) has handled 470 crisis cases.
- We need your financial contributions so we can continue to save lives. We
need you to be an Angel so that all PWS Angels live full and productive lives.
