7th Annual Valentine Research Fund Campaign:
How to Participate
Joining the 7th
Annual Valentine Research Fund Campaign is simple! Participants send
letters to their family and friends letting them know how they can show
their love by donating to research to help find treatments and
ultimately a cure for their loved one with PWS. Participants and/or
their valentine can create a personal web page on Firstgiving.com/pwsausa
where donors can directly contribute. Here are the three steps you need
to take:
Please read
through all of the instructions below before you register.
1. All
participants will register.
2. You may choose
to send your own letter or you may have PWSA (USA) create the letter for
you. Make this choice on the registration form. A sample letter
will be available for you after you register.
3. If PWSA (USA)
is creating your letter for you, please email a picture
of your sweetheart to
dspencer@pwsausa.org or mail a picture to :

Your completed
letter along with a Research Fact Sheet and Donation form will be
emailed back to you ready to print. If you are unable to print multiple
copies of your letter and the forms, please call 800-926-4797 or email
dspencer@pwsausa.org for help.
How to create your own personal Valentine webpage
You have the
option to also create your own personal Valentine Research Fund Campaign
web page on Firstgiving.com/pwsausa after you have registered. To
create your own page go to
www.firstgiving.com/pwsausa Once you are on PWSA (USA)’s
FirstGiving page, click on Get Started
Then click on
Select 7th Annual Valentine Research Fund Campaign.
Follow the page
instructions. It is a good idea to put a picture of your sweetheart on
your web page. Click Here to view a sample firstgiving page.
If you are
creating your own letter, don’t forget to give directions to your
