About Our Organization:

The Prader-Willi Syndrome Association of Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. is a regional chapter of PWSA (USA), the only national membership association in the United States dedicated to Prader-Willi syndrome.

Our chapter offers support and information meetings, a local resource directory, a networking list of local families, and a newsletter. Membership is open to all interested families, friends, professionals, and service providers working with people who have PWS. Our dues are only $5.00 per year. One of the reasons we’ve kept our dues low is so that we all can afford to join the national Prader-Willi Syndrome Association as well as our chapter. (Both organizations provide free memberships to families in financial need—just ask.)

National PWSA membership includes a subscription to the bimonthly Gathered View newsletter, which is a primary source of information for both parents and professionals dealing with this unusual syndrome.
