Location Change for UM PWS Center

The University of Maryland Medical System's Prader-Willi Syndrome Center services have relocated from the main hospital on Greene Street to the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital facility at 1708 West Rogers Ave. in Baltimore. The center schedules PWS patients one day each month.

Staff:

• Dr. Debra Counts, pediatric endocrinologist 
• Nutrition consultations as needed
• Referrals to other specialists as needed

New Clinic in Baltimore

The Kennedy Krieger Institute launched a Prader-Willi clinic in 2002. The clinic sees patients quarterly, on the 5th Tuesday of the month.  The location is 707 N. Broadway, Baltimore MD 21205.

Staff:

• Dr. Ann Scheimann, pediatric gastroenterologist
• Nutrition, speech, behavior/psychology consultations available on clinic days
• Referrals to other specialists, as needed
